New Testament Church of God celebrates 100 years in Jamaica
ST CATHERINE– Bishop Dr Gary Lewis, General Overseer of the Church of God, headquartered in Cleveland, Tennessee in the United States, will be in Jamaica this weekend as the New Testament Church of God in Jamaica celebrates its 100th anniversary.
Lewis is set to deliver the message in the morning service of the celebration, to be held at the church’s annual National Convention at the Church’s Convention Centre in Old Harbour, St Catherine.
The New Testament Church of God Jamaica was established by missionaries from the Church of God over 100 years ago. It is the second largest denomination on the island, with over 119,000 members in over 360 churches.
The Church of God is an international Pentecostal/Holiness denomination with over 9.2 million members in 197 countries.
