Five firearms, ammo seized in St James
ST JAMES, Jamaica- Five firearms and several rounds of ammunition were seized by the police during an operation in Hendon Norwood, St James on Sunday.
Reports from the Montego Bay police are that between 2:10 am and 3:50 am, a police team, acting on information, conducted an operation in a vegetated area of the community.
A search of the space led to the discovery of a Glock pistol, a Beretta APX pistol with an affixed magazine containing eleven 9mm cartridges and a 9mm pistol with a magazine containing four 9mm cartridges. An Intratec submachine gun with an empty magazine and a transparent plastic bottle containing six 9mm rounds were also reportedly seized.
No one was arrested in relation to this seizure.
