Cavalier’s Jalmaro Calvin set to join Scottish side St Mirren
Cavalier FC forward Jalmaro Calvin is set to follow his former captain Richard King by signing for St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership.
The 22-year-old is already in Scotland, with St Mirren already agreeing a fee with the Rudolph Speid-led Cavalier. Reggae Boy Calvin completed his medical and was in the stands on Tuesday to see the club’s Scottish League Cup win over Forfar, where fellow Jamaican international King made his debut.

Calvin is set to be announced in the coming days as he awaits his work permit. It will be St Mirren’s second signing from Cavalier after securing King’s transfer last month.
Calvin helped Cavalier win consecutive Jamaica Premier League titles with an impressive 34 goals in 71 appearances, including 21 in the 2024/25 campaign. He was also named best young player of Cavalier’s Concacaf Caribbean Cup triumph.
Jamaican born Calvin, who represented Antigua and Barbuda at youth level, made his debut for the Reggae Boyz in February against Trinidad and Tobago in two friendly internationals.
