48-hour curfew extended in sections of St Mary
KINGSTON, Jamaica – The 48-hour curfew that was imposed in sections of the Enfield community in Annotto Bay, St Mary, has been extended for another 48 hours.
The curfew began at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, July 16, and will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 18.
The areas of the curfew are as follows:
North: Along a section of the Iter Boreale main road near the National Water Commission pump
site extending to the Dry River Bridge.
East: From the Dry River Bridge, extending to a section of the Enfield community known as
Forty-One (41).
South: From Forty-One Square, extending west, along an imaginary line.
West: From the end of the imaginary line at Forty-One square, to the starting point near the National Water Commission pump site.
During the hours of the curfew, all individuals within its boundaries are being encouraged to remain within their premises, unless otherwise authorised by the ground commander.
