Brunch N Beats: Pizza & Prosecco Edition @EITS Café
On Sunday, the hills were alive with flavour and rhythm as EITS Café hosted a special Brunch N Beats: Pizza & Prosecco edition. Guests were treated to a vibrant culinary journey curated by Robyn Fox and Guest Chef Dominic Pearson, blending Italian classics with local flair in a relaxed mountain setting.
The brunch kicked off with comforting soups, each paired with homemade, freshly baked bread, served with a duo of rich, flavourful butters — one herbed and one infused with a kick of Scotch bonnet pepper. A farm-fresh Caprese salad, featuring mozzarella and farm fresh basil straight from the garden, was a crowd favourite.
The pizza station was abuzz, with chefs whipping up made-to-order pizzas from the specially crafted menu, offering both modern Italian classics like the Margherita Sbagliata and Jamaican-inspired twists utilising Roast Meats’ Scotch Bonnet Salami.
Meanwhile, the EITS kitchen delivered hearty pastas, with guests choosing from shrimp, chicken, or veggie options and a variety of delicious sauces.
For dessert, the Pizza Frita Dolce — a deep-fried dough topped with Nutella and dusted with icing sugar — was a standout, along with the ever-indulgent Affogato, made with Red Shed coffee.
Beverages flowed throughout the day, with the Hugo cocktail (made using Cavicchioli Prosecco from Select Brands) stealing the show. Not to mention the Otaheite Apple Juice & Watermelon Juice with a hint of ginger!
DJ AfroPete kept the vibes upful, blending Italian and Jamaican beats as guests dined and took in the breathtaking mountain views.
Brunch N Beats continues to grow as a must-experience event, celebrating good food, good music, and great company in the cool hills above Kingston.
