Decisions taken by the Jamaica Racing Commission
The Stewards announce the following disciplinary actions arising from inquiries held at the offices of the Jamaica Racing Commission, Unit 15-17 Big Buy Plaza, Portmore, St Catherine, on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.
Jockey Raddesh Roman who rode:
•Midnight Runner in the fifth (5th) race on Sunday, June 29, 2025 was fined $5,000 for the intimidation and interference caused to
Royal Maverick in the final 100 metres;
• Sir John in the first (1st) race on Saturday, July 5, 2025 was cautioned for the intimidation caused to Eazy Peazy and Nakamura in the vicinity of the 200-metre point; and
• Minidewak in the sixth (6th) race on Saturday, July 5, 2025 had his explanation accepted for the intimidation and interference caused to Degaulle leaving the starting gate. However, the horse remains disqualified as the blame was attributed to the movement of the horse.
