JIBE: Three Days of excellence
The three-day JIBE (Jamaica International Beauty Expo) 2025 schedule — June 27-29 — was nothing short of packed, and purposefully so. Across three dynamic days, attendees were treated to live demonstrations, insightful presentations, fashion-forward showcases, and interactive workshops. From skincare science to cutting-edge make-up techniques, lash artistry, men’s grooming, wellness entrepreneurship, and everything in between, there was something for every curious mind and beauty lover.
Local, regional and international brands took centre stage, using the platform to launch new products, connect with buyers, and showcase beauty and wellness craftsmanship with flair. “It’s not just an expo, it’s a movement,” shared Nicole Stoddarth of the Beauty Stop by Pageant Boss make-up brand. The energy, the turnout, the attention to detail; this is what the industry needs.”
The main stage pulsed with energy, hosting panel discussions, fireside chats with Toni-Ann Singh, Miss World 2019-2022, and other notables, competitions and runway moments that fused Afro-Caribbean fashion with global trends. Performances by soulful artistes Joby Jay and Nordia Mothersille added flavour, reminding guests that Jamaica’s beauty goes far beyond skin-deep.
A new standard set
The presence of special guests, including beauty queens, influencers and corporate leaders, including a delegation from Canada, added star power to an already dazzling affair, resulting in JIBE trending on social media.
With its signature blend of style and substance, JIBE continues to be the Caribbean’s leading beauty and wellness showcase; a crown jewel for the region, and now a Kingston classic in the making.
