Queens’ delight
This year edition marked the 5th anniversary of Mrs Universe Jamaica.
The pageant champions values of leadership, advocacy, and legacy-building among Jamaican women, focusing on the societal impact each woman brings to her community and country.
Held on Saturday, July 5 at AC Hotel Kingston, the pageant crowned three queens who will compete at the international level in the Philippines this October.
Shannon Green, founder and first-ever Mrs Universe Jamaica, explained: “This isn’t just a pageant, it’s a movement. Five years ago we began with a vision to shift how women see themselves and how the world sees them. Today, that vision has blossomed into a sisterhood of bold, purpose-driven women who are reshaping the narrative.”
“I am extremely overwhelmed and ecstatic about being crowned Mrs Universe Jamaica 2025,’” said Miriam Rose, “…. I am humbled, grateful, and excited about the possibilities and opportunities to represent Jamaica. I look forward with great enthusiasm to using this title to empower, uplift, and motivate others to strive for excellence. My aspirations for the upcoming year are to inspire women to become their best selves and accomplish their dreams and goals.”
Plans are already under way to expand Mrs Universe Jamaica’s national reach by introducing educational workshops and fostering global partnerships that will continue to uplift women at every stage of their personal and professional journey.
