‘The Cosby Show’ actor Malcolm Jamal Warner dies at 54

American actor and director Malcolm Jamal Warner who played the role Theodore Huxtable on The Cosby Show has died, according to international news reports.

According to a report by PEOPLE, the actor was in Costa Rica on a family vacation and drowned while swimming.

Malcolm was 54 years old. He is survived by his wife and daughter.

Malcolm was nominated for outstanding supporting actor for his role in The Cosby Show at the 38th Primetime Emmy Awards. He is also known for his roles as Malcolm McGee in Malcolm & Eddie and Dr Alex Reed in Reed Between, among others.
