Lowell Campbell appointed to Jamaica College Trust board
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Lowell Campbell has been appointed to the board of the Jamaica College (JC) Trust as a director/trustee, bringing over three decades of experience in banking operations, technology transformation and regulatory compliance to the board.
Campbell is currently a senior vice president at Citigroup.
Chairman of the JC Trust, Derek Jones, in making the disclosure, said he was elated to have Lowell on board.
“It is an honour to have this distinguished JC old boy join the board of the Jamaica College Trust. The income from the trust provides assistance to the school as well as occasional capital contributions. Trustees are stewards of these funds, and we are delighted to be joined by someone of Lowell’s expertise and history,” Jones said.
A 1978 graduate of Jamaica College, Campbell has demonstrated commitment to educational advancement through his service on the Jamaica College board of management and as a founding member and former secretary of the Jamaica College Old Boys Association of New York, where he currently serves as advisory board chairman.
He is also a founding member and past treasurer of the Union of Jamaican Alumni Associations (USA) Incorporation.
