US fast food chain Wendy’s to open first restaurant in Guyana
GEORGETOWN, Guyana (CMC) — United States (US) based fast food chain Wendy’s is scheduled to open its first restaurant in Guyana in August.
According to a statement, the brand has signed a franchise agreement with WenKai Incorporation to bring its menu, which includes its square hamburgers, spicy chicken sandwich, chicken nuggets, and frosty treats, to local customers.
The first restaurant will offer a modern and convenient dining experience featuring drive-thru service, dine-in seating and delivery.
WenKai Incorporation plans to open three Wendy’s restaurants in Guyana by the end of the year.
As part of a broader market expansion, the agreement also includes plans to develop new Wendy’s restaurants in Suriname.
