Health Renew Medical Centre marks five years of transforming lives
KINGSTON, Jamaica—Dr Keronre Thomas says she is pleased at the high level of health care afforded to many patients since the inception of Health Renew Medical Centre five years ago.
Dr Thomas and her team marked the fifth anniversary on July 18 with a dinner reception at RawBar Restaurant & Lounge in Kingston.
“My biggest accomplishment is opening a medical centre in the land of my birth and serving my people. The business has seen its highs and lows but, the patient outcomes are definitely the high point; changing a life is priceless,” Dr Thomas said.

Health Renew Medical Center, located at 11 South Avenue, Kingston 10, specialises in all general medical services, all ages, telemedicine, home visits, aesthetics, and medical suites rental. It currently operates with a receptionist, a nurse and two auxiliary staff members.

Dr Thomas, who is also a hospitalist physician with 11 years experience in hospital medicine and critical care, is encouraging others, especially ambitious young people, to remain disciplined in order to reap success.
“ My advice is, ‘The heights by great men reached and kept were not attained by sudden flight, But they, while their companions slept, were toiling upward in the night,” said Dr Thomas.
