Valiant tops off Coca-Cola Bites & Beats fest
Valiant lit up Hope Gardens on Saturday night delivering the high-energy performance fans were waiting for at Coca-Cola Bites and Beats Food & Music Festival.
The dancehall star took to the stage and ran through a set list packed with his top hits, among them Dunce Cheque and North Carolina, much to the enthusiasm of the crowd.
“The festival was pure vibes. From the moment I got on the stage the crowd was full of energy; everybody was vibing and singing along. It’s just always great whenever I get to connect with fans,” said Valiant.
His performance was the highlight of the festival and brought the curtains down on the culinary and musical celebration.
Patrons, many repping the iconic brand’s vibrant red hue, came ready for an evening of food, music, and immersive brand experiences.
There was something to entertain everyone — the Coke Store with personalised bottles and merch, a futuristic virtual reality hub, a playful photo booth, and a curated food court featuring some of Kingston’s favourite eateries.
The Coke Studio also added another layer of excitement, giving aspiring artistes and patrons an opportunity to lay a track on the Bites & Beats rhythm produced by DJ Mac.
“We believe we delivered on the entertainment value at our first Bites & Beats Festival, bringing in one space the things that we love as Jamaicans — food, music, and the joy of sharing with friends”, said Chantellee McDonald, senior brand manager, Coca-Cola portfolio, Wisynco Group Limited.
