No weapons, explosives for Cece Winans concert

KINGSTON, Jamaica —The police are advising people who will be attending the CeCe Winans ‘More Than This Concert’ at the Kings House East Lawn on Friday, that any item that can be used to cause serious harm or injury will not be allowed inside the venue.

Among the prohibited items are firearms, explosives, knives, igloos and scissors.

Meanwhile the police are also advising traffic changes.

The following roads will be temporarily closed on Friday, August 1 between 12:00pm to 11:00pm:

  • East Kings House Road at the intersections with East Kings House Avenue
  • Sandhurst Crescent, Sandhurst Avenue, Marley Road and Nunthorpe Drive
  • Hope Road onto East Kings House Road

Traffic personnel will be deployed along the roadways, and members of the public are being advised to follow their instructions
