Driver injured in two-vehicle collision in Hanover

HANOVER, Jamaica — At least one person is now awaiting medical attention following a two-vehicle collision on the Mosquito Cove main road near Sandy Bay in Hanover on Thursday.

The person is reportedly the driver of a motor car which collided with a refrigerated truck. The engine compartment of the car was crushed while the truck overturned on its side.

The exact time of the accident has not yet been confirmed.

Police and firefighters are currently on location.
