Trelawny man charged with murder
TRELAWNY, Jamaica — A Trelawny man has been charged with murder following an incident in the Falmouth Gardens community in May.
He is 37-year-old Kemar Foster of the community. Foster is charged with the shooting death of 37-year-old Mikkel Robinson, a tiler of Bobman Hill, Lilliput in St James.
Reports are that on Saturday, May 3 about 6:03 pm, Robinson and Foster had an argument, during which Foster left and returned with a firearm. Foster reportedly opened fire, hitting Robinson in the upper body multiple times. He then made his escape on foot in the area.
The police were alerted, and upon their arrival, Robinson was taken to the hospital, where his death was confirmed.
On Thursday, May 8, Foster was arrested during a police operation and subsequently charged.
His court date is being arranged.
