CWI confirms Rovman Powell injury
LAUDERHILL, Florida (CMC) — West Indies power hitter Rovman Powell has been sidelined with a wrist injury and will take no further part in the ongoing T20I series against Pakistan.
The 32-year-old did not feature in the opener on Thursday at Broward County Stadium, which the West Indies lost by 14 runs, or the second game at the same venue last night and has been ruled out of the last match.
Powell hurt his wrist while attempting a catch in the fourth T20I against Australia in St Kitts on Tuesday and subsequently missed the fifth and final match of that series.
No replacement has been named for Powell.
