‘Hell’ facing wounding charge
KINGSTON, Jamaica –Thirty-one year-old Demario Williams otherwise called ‘Hell’ has been charged with wounding with intent following an incident in his community on Saturday, August 2.
Reports from the police are that about 5:38 pm, Williams got into an argument with a man while they were at a shop in the area. He reportedly left and returned with a knife which he allegedly used to inflict stab wounds to the man’s neck and face.
The police were alerted and upon their arrival, the injured man was transported to the hospital where he was treated and released.
Williams was subsequently arrested during an operation.
He was formally charged on Wednesday, August 6, based on statements recorded.
A court date for him is being finalised.
