Former NCB managing director Jeffrey Cobham has died
Jeffrey Cobham, former managing director of the National Commercial Bank Jamaica (NCB), has died.
The National Dance Theatre Company of Jamaica (NDTC), where Cobham once served as chairman, made the announcement on social media Wednesday evening.
“It is with profound sadness that the NDTC announces the passing of our beloved former Chairman, Jeffrey “Jeff” Cobham, an exceptional leader, artist, and friend whose life was marked by service, creativity, and unwavering dedication to the NDTC’s mission,” the NDTC said.
It did not state a cause of death or when he passed.
Cobham also served as chairman of Stock and Securities Limited (SSL) where he temporarily took up certain executive functions after the resignation of Zachary Harding as CEO.
He was also a director of Sagicor Life Jamaica and Pan Caribbean Financial Services, and
sat on the board of a number of other companies in Jamaica.
A musician, Cobham played classical guitar.
