Air Canada flight cancellations at Sangster International Airport due to strike
MBJ Airports Limited (MBJ), operators of the Sangster International Airport (SIA), is advising passengers that Saturday’s Air Canada flights AC 982 and AC 983, scheduled to arrive at 11:05 AM and depart at 12:00 PM respectively, have been cancelled due to the airline’s ongoing labour disruption which may impact Air Canada’s flight operations over the next few days.

Air Canada passengers who were booked to travel Saturday are advised not to proceed to the airport for Saturday’s flights but instead contact the airline for rebooking.
Additionally, hotel partners are being advised to retain guests travelling via Air Canada and not transport them to MBJ until the situation has been resolved and normal flight operations resume.
REBOOKING AND REFUND OPTIONS
All affected Air Canada passengers must contact the airline directly through the following channels to rebook their flight or request a refund:
• Air Canada mobile app
• Website: aircanada.com/mybookings and aircanada.com/action
• Phone: 1-888-247-2262
• Travel agents for those who booked through third parties
Sangster International Airport operations are continuing normally for all other airlines and flights. Passengers travelling on other carriers should check with their respective airlines for any potential impacts.
MBJ said while the cancellations are beyond its control, it understands the significant inconvenience caused and is monitoring the situation closely to provide updates as soon as more information is available.
