Domestic helper charged with unlawful wounding
KINGSTON, Jamaica – A domestic helper has been charged with unlawful wounding following an incident in the Battersea district in Porus, Manchester on August 17.
She is 54-year-old Annmarie Chanteloupe.
According to reports from lawmen on August 17, about 1:00pm, Chanteloupe and her common-law husband had an altercation which became physical.
During the argument a knife was brought into play, which Chanteloupe allegedly used to inflict wounds on her spouse.
A report was made to the police and the charges subsequently laid.
A court date for Chanteloupe is being finalised.
