WATCH: Leon Bailey gets warm Italian welcome
Reggae Boyz winger Leon Bailey has arrived in Rome, Italy, following his loan to AS Roma from Aston Villa.
Bailey was expected to be unveiled by the Serie A club on Tuesday, with his agent Craig Butler having arrived in the country earlier to finalise the deal.
Butler couldn’t be reached for comment by Observer Online, but on social media, he hinted that the move was imminent.
In videos showing Bailey’s arrival in the Italian capital, he was met by chanting locals anxious to snap pictures.
Roma is expected to pay a £3 million loan fee (JM$650.9 million) with an option to make the move permanent for £17 million (JM$3.6 billion).
