UPDATE: Two escapees recaptured
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Two of the prisoners who escaped from the Constant Spring Police Station lock-up early Tuesday have now been recaptured.
They are 23-year-old Talik Chambers, who is charged with identity theft, and 19-year-old Richard Bishop, who is charged with burglary and larceny.

Nine prisoners escaped the lock-up on Tuesday by cutting through a door, according to police reports. One of the escapees was subsequently recaptured in a section of Cassava Piece. However, the other eight had remained at large.

With two more captured, the remaining six escapees are 19-year-old Alunzo Espute of a Cassava Piece, Kingston 8 address; 27-year-old Brandon Ennis; 25-year-old Donque Douglas; 18-year-old Fray Messias; 31-year-old Junior Anthony Barnes; and 25-year-old Kamal Kelly.
Police say their offences include murder, rape, possession of a prohibited weapon, identity theft, wounding with intent, shooting with intent, malicious destruction of property, burglary, larceny, and possession of a prohibited weapon and unauthorised ammunition.
The police are urging anyone with information on the whereabouts of the remaining escapees to contact the Constant Spring Police Station or the nearest police station.
