The Style Issue, August 21, 2025
British-Jamaican brand Island Bespoke, led by Creative Sartorial Director David Newell, made its landmark debut in Jamaica with the unveiling of the Spring/Summer collection Arrival at the 25th anniversary celebration of Saint International Model Agency held Saturday, August 16 at AC Hotel Kingston.
Fashion house Island Bespoke is rooted in sartorial craftsmanship with a distinctly modern lens. The brand bridges two worlds — the refined tailoring traditions of British menswear and the effortless vibrancy of Caribbean style. There was no disputing this as models hit the runway in pastel palettes of soft mint, sandy beige, dusty pink, and ocean blue crafted into sharp yet fluid silhouettes, each look a nod to the sartorial codes of island life, reimagined for a new generation.
“To return to Jamaica with my first Island Bespoke collection was deeply personal. Arrival celebrates my parents’ journey, the island’s beauty, and creativity of its people,” an emotional Newell shared with Page 2 as he left the runway to rapturous applause.
