Zion Care International continues to deliver services to needy Jamaicans
ZION Care International, a registered non-profit organisation in New York and Jamaica, recently returned to the island to provide free medical and dental services to residents of underserved communities.
Representatives of Zion Care have been visiting Jamaica annually since 2012, with a forced break during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The team members recently concluded their 2025 dental mission in Lilliput, St James.
The five-day mission at Lilliput Seventh-day Adventist Church hall saw approximately 300 people getting free dental care.
Zion Care International, headquartered in Bronx, New York, is led by Jamaican-born Bishop Dr Craig Brown, a St George’s College graduate and an investment banker who makes to time supports Jamaicans who struggle to get medical and dental care.
Dr Brown has been leading missions of volunteers over the years who have dedicated their time and resources to cover airfare, transportation, and accommodation in order to provide services to Jamaicans from many parishes.
Among the areas support are Alexandria Hospital in St Ann and Moreland Hill Infant School in Westmoreland.
