Men charged after gun found on premises in Kingston
KINGSTON, Jamaica —Two men have been charged with possession of a prohibited weapon in relation to a firearm seizure on Varma Road in Kingston on Monday.
They are 26-year-old Tigel Tomlinson and 20-year-old Kayon Rogers, both of Varma Road, Kingston 11.
Reports from the Olympic Gardens police are that on August 25, lawmen conducted an intelligence-driven operation at a premises on Varma Road and found a Radical RS15 rifle with a magazine containing four 5.56 cartridges.
The men, who were occupants of the dwelling, were brought into custody and subsequently charged, the police said.
A court date is being finalised for them.
