Immersifi launches @ Closet Code
Retail isn’t dying; it’s transforming! Imagine, sipping Bottega sparkling wine, chatting with your girlfriends, and getting first dibs on new digital fashion platform Immersifi, all while shopping after-hours at your favourite boutique. Sounds nice, right? We think so, too. That’s what the Closet Code presents ‘The Holistic Woman’ event was all about.
Closet Code, the uber-chic boutique at Super Valu Towne Centre, continues to redefine retail in Kingston by blending contemporary fashion, community, and now innovation. Martina Vickers, the creative force behind the brand, says her mission has always been to create a space where style meets experience. And by partnering with Immersifi — a loyalty, clientelling and community membership platform that empowers brands to deliver personalised experiences — she has positioned Closet Code as the first store in the world to unlock the new platform.
The platform made its worldwide launch in Jamaica. And, though worthy of fireworks for its sheer impact alone, took the form of an intimate gathering at the boutique, and was led by Immersifi founder & CEO Katerina Ali, Vickers, who invited UMI Opulence Med Spa General Manager Britina Allen; and Body Forte Limited director Dr Summer Lopez to join her in a panel discussion.
“I think we [Closet Code and Immersifi] are a great mix because I found — especially with moving back to Jamaica after college — community in the fashion world limited. It was hard to find a place where I could be myself… have certain conversations, and feel heard, seen, and understood. I feel like with Katerina; even on our first meet-up, everything flowed,” said Vickers. “I believe in the mission, and that sense of innovation, and where we’re heading next, and I love that Closet Code can be associated with breaking barriers and doing new things, and being innovative, and collaborating in that way. Because we are so big on the interactions that you guys have when you come in here, we’re very big on community and just having that girls’ girl closet situation,” she said.
A highlight of Ali’s address was the AI changing-room feature. As she explained, customers will be able to activate an in-store visit through the Immersifi platform. The boutique will be notified instantly. The shopper’s membership profile then equips sales associates with everything they need for a tailored shopping experience. Customers will arrive to find change rooms ready with their preferred styles and sizes, or explore new pre-selected picks. A perfect partnership as Closet Code relaunches its online shopping platform.
About
Founded by Katerina Ali, a digital disrupter revolutionising brand and customer experience in-store and online, developed Immersifi to give fashion retailers the power to recognise, serve and reward their best customers using AI, smart data, and digital memberships.
Ali says retail is still stuck in the past and customer experience innovation is needed.
Despite all the innovation in design, supply chains and marketing – one place has been left behind: the in-store experience. Customers still walk in unrecognised. Staff still guess what a customer wants. Customer loyalty solutions feel either non-existent or the same old ‘just a discount’; it’s not a relationship.
Immersifi changes that by turning physical retail into a data-powered, human-first experience.
