Ipca Laboratories stages health fair
Approximately 125 people benefited from a health fair staged by Indian multinational pharmaceutical company Ipca Laboratories in association with Vincent de Paul Society at Sts Peter and Paul Church in St Andrew on Sunday.
Ten general practitioners and four dentists provided free tests for a range of chronic illnesses, including diabetes and hypertension.
At least 40 patients received free dental cleaning, eye screening, and ear, nose and throat care.
Ipca Laboratories Country Manager Raviteja Sarisa reported that patients left the health fair happy and that the company will continue to offer the service in the future.
Vincent de Paul Society is an international voluntary organisation founded in 1833 in Paris by Frederic Ozanam and other dedicated Catholics to serve the poor and needy and promote spiritual growth through personal action.
