93-y-o voter leaving it to God
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — Ninety-three-year-old Maud Brady, who says she has always exercised her franchise, is leaving it to God to decide who wins the 2025 General Election.
She made the declaration Wednesday while speaking to the Jamaica Observer after casting her vote in the polls at Cumberland High School in St Catherine South Eastern, where the Jamaica Labour Party incumbent Robert Miller and the People’s National Party’s Dr Alfred Dawes are duelling.
Brady said she exercised her right to vote, and she hopes “God allows the right person to win”.
