General Elections: Brown defeats Dunn in St Mary South Eastern
ST MARY, Jamaica — The People’s National Party’s (PNP) Christopher Brown has won the St Mary South Eastern seat in the 2025 General Election, based on preliminary results.
Brown tallied 6,642 votes while the Jamaica Labour Party’s (JLP) Norman Dunn secured 6,631 votes. Mark Hutchinson of Jamaica Progressive Party secured 26 votes.
With the win, Brown has flipped the seat which Dunn has been Member of Parliament for since 2017 when he defeated PNP’s Shane Alexis in a by-election.
