The ninth staging of the We Inspire Women Brunch, held under the theme ‘Powerful in Pink’ at the Pegasus hotel in Kingston, was dedicated to motivating women in their personal lives and careers. Sanya Goffe, president of the Pension Industry Association of Jamaica, outlined the importance of securing pensions, while associate clinical psychologist Kerri-Anne Freckleton sparked a discussion on turning pain into purpose. That message was brought home by Supreme Ventures Services Limited CEO Krista-Gaye Fisher, who shared an emotional story of her journey to the top. Media professional Debbie Bisson was also recognised, receiving the award for the most inspiring woman in media.
Guests enjoyed a hefty meal and explored women-focused displays, including Women’s Touch, jewellery and skin care vendors; Biote for women’s hormonal health; and Yard Cherry bags, while taking photos against elegant arrangements. The event was hosted by Cortia Bingham McKenzie, CEO of We Inspire Women, with Novia McDonald-Whyte serving as chair.
