ISRATECH Jamaica Ltd marks World Charity Day with donation to children’s home
MANCHESTER, JAMAICA – ISRATECH Jamaica Ltd joined the global observance of World Charity Day on Friday, by making a contribution to the New Vision Children’s Home in Manchester.
The company donated appliances, toiletries, personal care items, and back-to-school supplies to support the daily needs and educational development of the children at the facility.
“World Charity Day is more than a date on the calendar; it is a call to action, a reminder that kindness and compassion can change lives,” said Benjamin Hodara, CEO of ISRATECH Jamaica Ltd. “At ISRATECH, we believe that giving back is not just a responsibility but a privilege. Supporting the New Vision Children’s Home reflects our mission to build stronger communities while improving lives.”
The New Vision Children’s Home provides shelter, care, and opportunities for children in need. The donation aims to help reduce financial strain on the facility and ensure the youngsters are adequately prepared for the new school year.
“We are deeply grateful to ISRATECH Jamaica Ltd for their generosity,” said Juliet Folks, administrator at the home. “These items will go a long way in improving the daily lives of our children and preparing them for the school term.”
As Jamaica joined the world in marking World Charity Day, ISRATECH is encouraging other businesses, organisations, and individuals to embrace the spirit of giving, highlighting values of compassion, unity, and hope.
