Jamaica lead Group B in final round World Cup qualifiers
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica are leaders in Group B of the final round of Concacaf World Cup qualifying following the first round of games played on Friday.
The ReggaeBoyz will host Trinidad and Tobago at the National Stadium on Tuesday.
The win was the fifth straight by Jamaica in a World Cup qualifier for the first time since the 1998 WCQ Campaign.
Damion Lowe gave Jamaica an early lead when he scored his fourth international goal in the sixth minute before Renaldo Cephas scored his second international goal in the 26 th minute to double the advantage.
Kasey Palmer also got his second goal for Jamaica when he scored in the third in the 58th minute before Shamar Nicholson came off the bench to score his 20th international goal for Jamaica in the 90th minute.
