Reggae Boyz name unchanged line-up for game against Trinidad and Tobago
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica’s head coach Steve McClaren has named an unchanged team for Tuesday’s final round World Cup qualification game against Trinidad and Tobago in their Concacaf Group B game at the National Stadium in Kingston.
Jamaica leads the group with three points after beating Bermuda 4-0 in Bermuda on Friday, while Trinidad and Tobago were held 0-0 by Curacao at home.
The Reggae Boyz are unbeaten against Trinidad and Tobago in World Cup qualifiers in four previous meetings, winning three games and drawing the other.
It will be the third time the Caribbean rivals will face off in the final round of qualifying after two games in the 2002 qualifying where Jamaica won the first game 1-0 in Kingston and 2-1 in Port of Spain.
