48-hour curfew imposed in sections of St Andrew North
KINGSTON, Jamaica – A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in sections of the St Andrew North Police Division.
The curfew began at 6:00 pm on Friday, September 12, and will remain in effect until 6:00 pm on Sunday, September 14.
The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:
NORTH: From Golden Spring Road, continue along an imaginary line to the cul-de-sac at Author Leon Drive, Golden Spring
EAST: From the cul-de-sac at Author Leon Drive, Golden Spring, leading onto an imaginary line to the intersection of Boon Hall Road and Mount Airy Road
SOUTH: From the intersection of Boon Hall Road and Mount Airy Road to the intersection of Stock Farm Road and Golden Spring Road
WEST: From the intersection of Stock Farm Road and Golden Spring Road
During the hours of the curfew, people within the boundaries of the curfew are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authorsised by the ground commander.
