Businessman charged with wounding with intent
ST ANN, Jamaica – A 33-year-old businessman has been charged with wounding with intent following an incident at a bar in his community on Sunday, June 15.
He is Jermaine Edwards of Breadnut Hill, Ocho Rios, St Ann.
Reports are that a man was at the establishment having drinks when Edwards allegedly attacked him, using a knife to inflict multiple stab wounds to his back.
The police were alerted, and Edwards was later taken into custody.
He was subsequently charged following an interview session.
His court date is being finalised.
