Harbour View rally against Waterhouse in JPL
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Former champions Harbour View rallied late to score their first win of the Jamaica Premier League season, beating Waterhouse 2-1 on Monday at Drewsland Stadium.
Colorado Murray had given Waterhouse the lead in the fifth minute after he capitalised on a mistake by goalkeeper Garwin Davis, looping the ball from about 20 metres into the unprotected goal.
Davis had tried to dribble the ball out of his area and was easily dispossessed by Murray.
Waterhouse appeared well on their way to back-to-back wins when Rohan Brown was well placed at the far right post to equalise in the 87th minute before Trayvone Reid scored the winner deep into stoppage time from the penalty spot.
In the first game of the double header, Dunbeholden FC beat Molynes United 2-0 to move into sixth place on the points table.
Nicholas Nelson opened the scoring in the 16th minute when he scored a penalty after he was fouled before Clive Wedderburn, who came off the bench in the 65th minute, scored the second goal of the game in the 79th minute.
