‘Welcome to the retirement club’

Bolt congratulates Fraser Pryce on legacy 

Following the final international run of her career, sprinting legend Usain Bolt had words of support for five-time 100m world champion Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce.

“Big up yourself @realshellyannfp. Congrats on all your achievements over the years, incredible legacy you set, real legend, PS. Welcome to the retirement club,” Bolt shared via Instagram.

The trackstar also shared a photo of himself and Fraser Pryce in a Puma-branded shirt with the words “We fasa dan yu”, fitting for the two sprint stars.

Fraser Pryce ended her World Championships career with a sixth-place finish in the 2025 Tokyo 100m final, leaving behind a legendary legacy as the only person to win a World Championship 100m title five times.
