Romero’s RIDDIM
Fashion Month is currently in full swing, and this spring/summer 2026 season, New York — the first stop in the big four which includes London, Milan, and Paris — pulled out all the stops when it came to beauty. From Dame Pat McGrath’s fresh pops of colour at Anna Sui, to airbrushed faces on the Diotima runway, New York Fashion Week (NYFW) glam did not disappoint!
One of our faves, however, was global director of make-up artistry at M.A.C. Cosmetics, Jamaican Romero Jennings’ crystal-encrusted looks on models at the Theophilio S/S 26 ‘Riddim’ runway show.

HEAT AND BLING!
We saw steamy skin punctuated with #glowplayblush and #skinfinishhighlighter, moment of neon and of course Romero’s signature-sequinned eyes!
By show time, the glam — make-up by Romero Jennings, hair by Yusef Williams, and special effects airbrush by Mab Cynner — debuted to flashing lights as models exited from a branded Volkswagen ID Buzz parked on the runway.
