ResolveIT becomes first Jamaican ICT firm to earn triple Microsoft Solutions Partner status
KINGSTON, Jamaica — ResolveIT Limited, a Jamaican-owned information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider with more than 20 years of shaping digital transformation and driving regional growth across the Caribbean, has become the first local company to earn three Microsoft Solutions Partner designations.
This recognition places the firm among the highest ranks of global Microsoft partners, a space traditionally dominated by multinational corporations.
Founded in 2004 by Almando Cox, ResolveIT began as a small information technology (IT) support provider, serving a handful of clients with computer repairs. Since then, the company has evolved into a strategic partner for digital transformation across the Caribbean, employing over 60 people and supporting more than 100 businesses and non-governmental organisations in Jamaica, Anguilla, Trinidad and Tobago, St Kitts and Nevis, The Bahamas, and the US Virgin Islands.
The new Microsoft designations position ResolveIT at the forefront of Caribbean technology, enabling local talent and businesses to compete on the global stage without relying on foreign providers.
The three designations are:
Microsoft Solutions Partner — Modern Work: This designation focuses on productivity and collaboration tools, including Microsoft 365, Teams and SharePoint. It enables ResolveIT to help organisations streamline workflows, enhance teamwork and adopt cloud-based solutions for remote or hybrid work environments.
Microsoft Solutions Partner — Infrastructure (Azure): This designation focuses on cloud infrastructure, hybrid environments and scalable IT solutions using Microsoft Azure. It allows ResolveIT to migrate businesses to the cloud, build resilient systems and optimise technology for growth and operational efficiency.
Microsoft Data and AI Azure: This designation is a premier destination for organisations seeking to harness the power of intelligent cloud solutions. It offers a comprehensive suite of tools and services that enable data-driven innovation, from advanced analytics and machine learning to scalable data infrastructure. As a strategic platform, Azure empowers businesses to transform insights into action, driving smarter decisions and unlocking new opportunities.
“This historic milestone is a testament to our team’s commitment to innovation, integrity and making a meaningful impact for businesses in Jamaica and across the region,” said Cox.
The company is also working in artificial intelligence (AI) driven cybersecurity, automated threat detection and edge computing to equip clients to stay ahead of emerging threats and maintain a competitive edge in an increasingly complex digital landscape.
