WATCH: Vox pop on mental health
As Suicide Prevention Month comes to a close on Tuesday, Jamaicans shared views on whether mental health challenges are taken seriously on the island.
In a vox pop, some said the issue is still being pushed aside, until a crisis occurs, while others noted more needs to be done in schools to ease the pressure.
When asked how they de-stress, many pointed to simple routines like listening to music, writing, gardening or spending time with friends as their go-to forms of relaxation.
