Trelawny Parish Court Judge pronounced dead at Falmouth Public General Hospital
TRELAWNY, Jamaica-Parish Court Judge Ruth Lawrence was pronounced dead Tuesday evening at the Falmouth Public General Hospital.
According to a police source, Lawrence was discovered unresponsive at her Coral Spring, Trelawny home and was taken to the hospital about 7:50pm.
The police source noted that no signs of physical injury were observed on her body.
When the Observer Online visited the hospital, members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force were on the scene.
Commander of the Trelawny Police Division Superintendent Velonique Campbell confirmed that the judge was pronounced dead at the hospital.
But when pressed for a comment she expressed that “it is still early days.
