DeCambre files suit against NCB
Well-known businessman Roy DeCambre has filed a law suit against National Commercial Bank (NCB) claiming damages for a range of issues relating to an escrow agreement.
The suit, filed in July this year, lists DeCambre’s National Fuels and Lubricants Limited and Total Jamaica Limited as the claimant and states that the escrow agreement was entered into on January 22, 2004.
DeCambre is convinced that the claims made in the suit will result in a verdict in his favour and has said the damages will run into billions of dollars.
When the Jamaica Observer contacted NCB to determine if it has been served the law suit, a representative said the bank does not comment on court matters.
