DI staff members remove 20 bags of litter in two hours during Burwood Beach clean-up
TRELAWNY, Jamaica – Staff members of Diamonds International (DI), operators of jewelry stores at the Falmouth cruise port, rolled up their sleeves on Friday morning to participate in a massive clean-up exercise at Burwood Beach in the parish.
In just two hours, the team collected 20 large bags filled with plastic bottles, condoms, paper, wet wipes, and other litter from the popular beach.
The initiative formed part of the company’s ongoing commitment to environmental preservation and community outreach.
“Diamonds International strongly supports giving back, and today’s exercise reflects our dedication to keeping our environment clean,” the company said in a statement.
DI also operates jewelry stores at the Ocho Rios cruise port in St Ann.
