Two dead in early morning St Catherine crash
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — Two people are now dead following an early Saturday morning collision along the Hellshire main road in St Catherine which also left several others injured.
The deceased individuals have not yet been identified, but one of them is said to be a teenager. The incident reportedly happened about 100 metres south of the Greater Portmore entrance, shortly after 3:00 am.
According to initial reports, the crash involved a white BMW motorcar and a grey Honda Fit Shuttle motorcar. It is further reported that the white BMW crashed into a utility pole, cutting off the electricity in the surrounding areas.
Eyewitnesses told Observer Online that several individuals were injured in the crash. They were transported to the Spanish Town Hospital.
