Michael Manhertz delivers Solid Rock Medley
Gospel recording artiste Michael Manhertz has released a heartfelt project, Solid Rock Medley
, featuring the incredible Kimberly Ade.
Produced by up-and-coming producer and musician Dylan Smith, this project is a deeply personal tribute.
“This medley is a way to honour my father’s legacy, who always encouraged me to create a Sunday morning style medley,” he shared, adding, “Growing up in the New Testament Church of God these were the songs that carried us through; the ones we sang on Sunday mornings, during revivals, and in moments when we needed hope. They reminded us that… Jesus abides with us [and] that we have faith and security in His everlasting arms.”
Since its release, the track has sparked a wave of listeners dancing, praising, and asking for more in the same style.
“Dylan Smith is simply incredible at what he does. He brought so much creativity and passion to the project, helping to shape the sound in a way that truly honours both the Caribbean church tradition and the contemporary gospel space. My biggest hope is that this medley encourages people to stand firm on Christ, our solid rock. Life is full of uncertainties, and we all need that reminder that Jesus is our foundation and guiding light,” the singer added.
Going on 21 years in the music industry, and nine as a solo artiste, Manhertz describes his music as diverse and fusion-based, blending Caribbean gospel, contemporary Christian music, traditional black gospel, and worship elements to create a sound that resonates with people from all walks of life.
His previous releases include Fresh Anointing, Bless The Lord, Deeper, Unashamed, and Holy.
“Right now, I’m looking forward to sharing this music both locally and internationally. There’s so much more music in the pipeline and I can’t wait to release it. I truly believe this is just the beginning of something greater,” he said.
In addition, the singer has his Christian streetwear brand @plxggedinapparel, which focuses on modern, stylish items that bring together faith and fashion — from hats and shirts to sweaters and shorts.
