Jamaica Inn & S Hotels among top 10 in Condé Nast Traveler 2025 Awards

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaican hotels has been ranked among the top 10 hotels in the Caribbean and Central America in the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards 2025.

The Jamaica Inn in Ocho Rios ranked #4, the S Hotel Montego Bay secured the #5 spot, and the S Hotel Kingston achieved #7, securing their spots as top hotel in Jamaica’s hospitality sector.

Minister of Tourism, Edmund Bartlett, lauded the recognition as “a testament to Jamaica’s unmatched hospitality, service excellence, and the continued diversification of our tourism product.”

“These three hotels represent the very best of Jamaica from a timeless luxury experience in Ocho Rios, to a vibrant boutique all-inclusive in Montego Bay, to a sophisticated urban retreat in Kingston. Together they embody the breadth, creativity, and world-class standard of our tourism offerings,” Minister Bartlett said.

“We congratulate the teams at Jamaica Inn and S Hotels Jamaica for continuing to raise the bar for the region.”

Kyle Mais, General Manager of Jamaica Inn, expressed gratitude for the recognition:

“We are grateful for all those who voted for us and to our team for the excellent service they continue to offer our guests. This award reaffirms our commitment to preserving timeless luxury and genuine Jamaican hospitality.”

After opening in 1950, the Jamaica Inn quickly earned notoriety for its discrete service and understated elegance, both of which made it a haven for mid-century movie stars like Marilyn Monroe and Katharine Hepburn.

Christopher Issa, CEO of S Hotels Jamaica, was thrilled that both his Montego Bay and Kingston properties also made the list:

“We are very happy that both our hotels have been recognised. We are especially proud that S Kingston has broken into the top 10. We believe this signals the reemergence of Kingston as a tourist destination and the culture capital of the Caribbean.”

S Hotel Montego Bay in the meantime has won multiple awards over the years from Condé Nast, USA Today, TripAdvisor, and others.
