Fraser-Pryce to be honoured at ATHLOS on Friday
Jamaican sprint queen Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce will be honoured on Friday at the inaugural ATHLOS event set to be held at Icahn Stadium in New York in celebration of her career on the track.
“Icons don’t just run fast, they move generations. ATHLOS honours Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce this Friday at Icahn Stadium, celebrating a lifetime of speed, excellence and legacy,” Athlos said in a social media post.
Fraser-Pryce will also be a guest of honour at the women-only professional track and field event.
The sprinter officially announced her retirement from competitive track and field on Tuesday bringing the curtain down on an illustrious 18-year career that has inspired millions worldwide.
