Connecticut man charged for murdering parents
A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection to the murder of his parents at a home in Waterbury, Connecticut on Monday night.
The victims have been identified as 51-year-old Carlene Williams and 55-year-old Marc Adams.
Charged in connection to the incident is Javan Adams. According to Fox19, Adams is facing multiple charges including murder with special circumstances, murder during commission of felony, larceny of a vehicle, and criminal use of a weapon.
Reports are that the police were called to a home on Beverly Avenue on Monday evening where Williams and Adams were found with gunshot wounds. They were pronounced dead at home. The incident is said to be linked to domestic violence.
Javian is being held by the police on a US$5 million bond and is expected to appear in court on Wednesday.
Reports are that the 25-year-old has had a long criminal history of domestic violence, with more than seven prior offences.
