Lifespan CEO cops Woman in Manufacturing and Exporting prize
CEO of Lifespan Spring Water Nayana Williams on Saturday walked away with the 2025 Scotiabank Woman in Manufacturing and Exporting Award for her contributions to the manufacturing sector, at the Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association (JMEA) annual awards ceremony.
The event recognised outstanding achievements in the Jamaican manufacturing and export community.
Williams is the founder of Lifespan Spring Water, a 20-year-old bottled water company headquartered in Portland, Jamaica.
“I am deeply honoured to receive this award from the JMEA,” said Williams.
“This recognition is a testament to the hard work and passion of my team, and to all women who continue to break barriers and drive progress in the manufacturing industry of Jamaica,” Williams added.
Williams was cited for her leadership which has been instrumental in advancing the manufacturing sector, fostering sustainable business practices, and creating opportunities for growth and empowerment within the community.
The JMEA’s leading female award is presented annually to an individual who demonstrates outstanding leadership, innovation, and commitment to the advancement of Jamaican manufacturing.
